Hello, just bought the game again after about 17 years. A few problems with the GoG version though. First, laying the orchid on the grave of zeneena (spelling?) doesn't work. It says /Debug grave open //enddebug Here lies Zeneena (or something along those lines). Also, on normal setting there is no way to attain the honey (i don't remember this being so hard on my retail version, although I may have been on easy). I literally die, at full health and full armor, one step into the house. Any suggestions? Ways to edit the difficulty down till I got past that part? And is the Zeneena grave needed to progress further (I forget, its been way too long).

Thanks for the help!

Not sure about the grave - that does sound like a bug. With the bees, I'm going off ancient memory here, but... I think maybe casting the armor spell helps? You may also need to "level up" a bit first (i.e. eat a few jars of nectar, or have beaten one or more of the bosses... I'm afraid I don't recall in more detail than that.)

This is gonna be pretty spoiler-heavy so you might wanna avert your eyes otherwise.

-As far as the bees in the house go, you don't need that honey until the Keetchda area, so you shouldn't have any reason to attempt to enter the building until you've transformed twice and talked with the T'Urthrax-Mata about fixing the transport tube to the Thelyd hive. At that point, cast a maxed Armor, a maxed Aid, and a maxed Haste, and you can easily reach it and get back out if you're quick about it.

-In addition, I posted another topic on fixing some of the bugs. May not fix your problem with the grave, but I've had no problems like that on my Win7 Ultimate desktop or my Win8.1 Pro tablet using my own solution.

-And no, you don't need the grave. It just gives you a charm for Strength, IIRC, and a potion. Helpful? Yes. Required? Not even a little.

I still own the retail disc my dad gave me, as well as a Win95 desktop running on 32MB of ram. I can promise it's the same game and not any harder than it used to be! :P
