Hi,
could you please help me with a technical issue? When I start playing, the game gradually begins to stutter. It starts with the sound, which develops an echo, and later everything—both the sound and the game itself—starts to lag until it becomes unplayable.

Windows 11 64bit
13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13400F
RAM: 32 GB

well, you probably either gave up or found the solution by now but i'll write just in case. What you are describing is a compability issue. For this game open it in windows xp (win 98 should also work). If this doesn't solve it you can try an older version of direct x or upgrading /downgrading your sound/graphics/mother board drivers.

Well, I have not find the solution yet, but you are right, I gave up.:-) I've already tried to open it in windows XP (and other windows versions) compatibility, but did not help. I will try to play with the drivers, as you suggest. Thanks for your help.

Hello--I was having your issue with the stuttering and seems the wrapper dgVoodoo2 works to mitigate this. There is a YouTube video spelling out the steps you can find here.
