dont work (maybe need more precision on where put that "thing")
1) Manage Installation
2) Configure...
3) Launch parameters [X] Custom executables/arguments
4) File 1 -> Duplicate
5) File 3 -> Arguments -> --console -> Default executable

seems like these are instructions for gog galaxy? maybe? which i don't use. and i'm in windows 10 which doesn't have any place to enter info (yes, with admin priv) in properties>general.

always possible i'm being blind, but am trying to fix beacon bug in encased and can't even get to the console :( :(: (

thanks for any help-for-dummies here.

I have not tested this, but I believe it should be as easy as it was back in the days.
Make a shorcut on Your Desktop, if You don't have it yet.
Add --console to the Target.
And it should work.

thanks for the response!
i did indeed already have a shortcut, and when i do as you suggest (add --console inside the quotation marks) i get the error "name specified in target box is not valid" (also when i use only one dash, also when i tried removing the quotation marks altogether)...

Did you add the parameter within the quotation marks, or outside of them?
