Even tried to first plug the controller in and then starting the game, but the game doesn't pick it up.

Used DS4Windows. Even a DualShock controller isn't recognised.
Apparently only Xinput is supported for GOG version?
In the end it's kinda funny simulating an Xbox controller whilst using the PS UI the game provides...
