::Please moderators/administrators of GOG.com do not delete this post.::

Today, members of Save-EE.com (Save Empire Earth.) including me, have noticed that GoG.com is giving away Empire Earth Gold edition for free! Very good!

The bad part is, the main Sierra servers were shut down approx. 2 years ago.

Save-ee.com supports a lobbyclient which allows you to play Empire Earth Multiplayer with hundreds of other people! We play online by using the Direct Connect feature.

If you visit http://www.save-ee.com and download our lobby client, you can ask for help in the lobby. You can either ask for help in public, or ask for help at a moderator. At the help section the staff of Save-EE discribed how to host a game and/or how to play a game.

Sincerely,

TrichomE - Lightnessking

::Again please, do not remove this as we have very few players left, and we would like to bring more activity into this oldschool strategy game.::

I'v tried EE2 for a while. It just didn't even come close to the quality of EE. The battle plans was the only thing I liked about it. On EE1, The computer cheats on so many levels, but I would like to turn it off sometimes.. I want them to release the source code. EE heaven has downloads, but I can't get to any of them.

AI's are indeed cheating, thought that won't be a problem if you have a good boom and good micro skills.
It says i need 2.0 patch isnt ee gold with the latest update?

No, the gog.com version is different than the patches supplied by Save-ee. If you wish to play online in our community you can download them in our lobby.

You can create a scenario for yourself against the computer. There is a checkbox in one of the option screens that you can uncheck to turn off the AI cheating. Yes, it literally has a checkbox that is checked by default to allow the AI to cheat. Try it sometime, it makes a tremendous difference.

Hello nslarson888, you are right about checking this box and unchecking it, but it won't work if you just make a scenario. The computer will do the minimum things in your game (Imagine playing vs a computer super-retardedly-easy-with-downsyndrom.) If you want a good game, you should play a random map with 1-7 computers in it. Save it and change the extension and move it to your scenario's folder. After this load it in scenario editor and then uncheck the box. (if you know trigger system you can also add a couple of cool things yourself!) You could edit the map aswell but it might give errors for the AI Computers.

Anyways for a extended guide visit this page and follow the first 7 steps, then after that change back the extension .scn to -> .ees (You'll see in the guide why!)

And remember; For online multiplayer of Empire Earth! Save-ee.com's lobby client! Downloadable here at save-ee; http://www.save-ee.com/pages.php?p=lobby-download
