So I've downloaded the game through the GOG installer without a hitch. When I try to install it, however, the installer doesn't actually do anything. No files are created on my PC. I'm trying to install them to their default location. I've tried messing with UAC and disabling Avast to no avail. Did I just get a bad installer or is there a more serious issue? I'd like to know as I've had this issue with every single paid game I've gotten through GOG,and I'd like to get a fix before I go and sink cash into the D&D sale.

Still no actual solutions. I'll just keep bumping this until then.

Do your games get past the integrity check before installing? Seems kinda weird that every one of your GOG games won't install. You may want to try re-downloading the game (through your browser instead of the GOG downloader program perhaps) in case you're getting incomplete/corrupted files.

Yes, I have gotten past them. I'll try redownloading fresh copies, then.
This seems to be one of those 'Am I the only person in the world with this problem?' problems. Perhaps there was this 1 millionth chance that your GOG downloader was corrupted? Try downloading the downloader again and see if it works. If not, see if is the downloader that has the problem and download without it, may take a while.

There's also the issue with the integrity check

It takes forever, might just need to wait a few minutes after the check.

I've tried fresh copies, still no dice. This is really weird...
Do you have access to another computer, a friends perhaps? So you could copy the installer to say a pen drive & try install it to rule out the issue being the installer?
