Im running windows 7 and installed the two games, which i got from GoG. When i try to play the games i get to the splash screen and then get an error saying "EE-AOC.exe has stopped working" and then have to close the program. This happens weather i launch the original or the expansion. I've tried launching the game in compatibility modes and at different resolutions but nothing i seem to do makes it work.
I have an Nvidea graphics card and an amd processor.

Have you also tried starting it explicitly as admin by right-clicking and selecting Run as administrator?
