I have a problem with Open play where it as soon as I click 'To the city', it returns me to the main menu instead of to the open play game that I selected with the various options. No error message is given.

Has anyone got this problem? And if so, (how) did you get past it?

edit: okay found out how to fix it or at least how to get around this bug. seems to be a problem with the widescreen patch. basically you reactivate the original emperor.exe, start an open end game, save it, and then return to the Emperor folder and reactivate the emperor.exe file that came with the widescreen patch. now load the previously saved game.
