Game keeps crashing in the Zhou Dynasty, mission: King Cuo's Temple. I had just delivered the initial wood to the temple location and the game minimizes then quits out of it all together on its own. I feel like this is a sort of bug. Anyone else had this issue/know how to fix it? I have tried running it under compatibility mode, as administrator and uninstalling and reinstalling it.

Help...


EDIT: I simply tried moving where I originally built the Temple and that seemed to fix the problem...weird

I am also having this problem - ont on that level, but I am getting a C++ runtime error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing doing. "abnormal program termination" - been playing it for a couple of weeks and this has only just started happening.

Any thoughts?

Have you downloaded any Wide Screen Fix'?
If so, I bet that a folder did not get copied over correctly, that is what happened to me when i first applied the WS patch.

I have since yesterday the same problem but cant solved it so far

did anything spawn around where you placed the temple originally? including armies entering the map

This has cropped up for me on Windows 10, both with a CD copy and a GoG copy. It appears to be caused by a corrupt settings file in the save directory. To fix: backup your saves (just in case), then delete 'ImperialRecord.imr' in the Save folder. The game should generate a new one next time the game is closed.
