Elex 3 in 2025? Elex 2 was supposed to be an improvement from the first game. What I soon realized was 2 is much more confusing than 1. Eles 3 will probably be more difficult and much more confusing. Will I get it?.... Maybe not.

There was a cheat table created for Elex 1 and it has a location code for wherever you are standing. So far, there's no such option for Elex 2.

Given how we were treated with the train wreck that is THQ Nordic buying P.B. and then the messed-up release of Elex II, and the lack of communication and poor treatment of fans, especially GOG using fans, I will not be buying Elex 3 or any other THQ Nordic game, ever again.

Just a follow up on this, I haven't seen anything recently, but the main person in charge of PB resigned relatively recently, and rumor has it that ELEX 3 is on hold or postponed indefinitely.

I hadn't heard that they shut down, so I'm assuming they're still live as a studio.

Piranha Bytes is reported to be in the process of closing since December 2023, so chances of a Elex 3 are almost non-existent. I don't know who has the rights on this game, but I suppose it's THQ/Nordic, so there is a very slim chance they give another studio the chance to develop something. That not has to need a new Elex game, but maybe something in the same "universe".

Anyway - Hope is not completely lost, but chances for an Elex 3 are very, very, very slim. Personally I think we will never see it (or anything like the the Gothic or Risen series). It's a shame, but yeah, that how things go sometimes...

EDIT: The main person responsible for the closure appears to have opened a new studio, and that is Bjorn. Apparently his lack of willingness to work on anything other than Elex chased away investors, based on second hand information I tracked down elsewhere.
