Hi,

Is the game, with latest patch, in a broken state?
Is combat smooth still problematic?
Are quest still broken?

I m trying to decide if I want to invest in this game with current sale.
I generally lile Pirhana Bytes game style.
But they are often very broken.

I've been playing it and having a ton of fun. The game never seemed broken to me at all - have yet to encounter any crashes or broken quests or anything like that.

I actually like the combat - obviously you've played PB games before, so you still totally suck at the start. But there's something a bit more "actiony" or "arcadey" about the combat in Elex as opposed to like Gothic or Risen...

... and it works. For me it feels more responsive and... tangible? than other PB games. So you have a bit more input - though it's still stat and weapon driven (you feel a huge impact when you bump your weapon skills or upgrade a weapon) you just seem to have more agency in combat.

Game's really good by the way - sucked me in for a couple months now (bought it during Winter Sale I think?) And I'm not even a total PB diehard.

Comparing to v1.0 many things in current patch are fixed and game is playable and all quests can be completed last time I checked, however lightning system was downgraded for some reason, nights are bright now, less bloom on light sources, but this can be fixed with a weather mod that reverts back to 1.0 weather.
