I do not understand why in steam you have added achievements to the system and in gog you have not added system achievements.

Gog users have paid the same price for the game as steam.

If you are not going to add the same options you should put a lower price
I'd actually pay more if devs would leave achievements out of their games, they're absolutely and utterly pointless and add no additional real value whatsoever.

Anyway - ELEX has its own in-game achievement system which works independently from any client software, be it Galaxy or the one on the other platform.
The downside is that it can't be disabled, meaning that occasionally, when the number of killed mutants or gathered scrap metal or whatever hits a certain threshold, the bottom area of the screen will be temporarily occupied/blocked by a rather large notification informing you about your latest meaningless accomplishment.
Yay.

I think like you. There are users who do not understand that if the game has a system of dedicated achievements in steam it has not been added in this game.

I have read to several users that it is because adding achievements in gog is more "expensive" than in steam

Lowering the price cause of missing achievements?
What the hell?
There isn't any value (except for your ego) in achievements, imho they're the most senseless crap invented for games(platforms).
But it's the current Meta since five years at least, people (smartphone gen) want to get more by doing less and the developers deliver.

It is a subject very discussed in gog.Lo certain that there is a very important part of users who want achievements and that if they add dedicated achievements in steam should add them in gog where more than 3000 users claimed to be able to obtain offline achievements, which means many sales .

https://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy/offline_achievements

However, unlike many users that a game does not have achievements is not a problem

You can find the achievements in the main menu -> Extras -> Achievements. I ignore them and wish I could turn the notifications off. That way I might be inclined to look at them once in a while, just to see what I cleared while playing normally. But this way not really.

Thank you for telling me where to find them.

I am also not too keen to have them pop up and would prefer them just to be there.

I also find achievements useless that just count the number of slayed biests etc. Achievements that make you play in a different way to experience a game differently would make a lot of sense to me, but these are rare.

Achievements are nothing but a gimmick to "add content" to a game that likely doesn't have enough "content"...;) Some people like them--I don't care about them one way or another, except if they interfere with the game itself--which I would not like at all. I'm always amazed that people feel a kind of faux-accomplishment for unlocking achievements that have little or nothing to do with the game itself...!
I had not visited this post for a long time. In a forum I was warned about how pathetic the post is

Interestingly, four German users with few messages responding against adding achievements to the game.

And it is more curious because the company Pirahha Bytes is German. We are laughing a lot about the issue in other forums.

The achievements are a success, here in gog on the wish list are the most voted options. In steam there have also been users who have complained that you have not added achievements in gog.

But this is not a problem, you are in your right, it is your game but at least be sincere and do not waste time in this way.

Also the problem is not that the game has no added achievements in gog.

What we complain many users are you have added achievements in steam but you have not added achievements in gog.

If you do not want to put achievements it seems very good, they are not important in a game but you should treat the users of gog in the same way that you treat the steam users

TimJD:
So they do them the same was as Risen and Risen 2, nice.

I don't even like achievements, but when one version has something that the other does not, it frustrates me.
I hate achievements! Wish I could turn them off in other platforms (ps4, xbox ect)
