I am aware that dosbox allows you to set controller mappings by pressing ctrl + F1, but the problem is that when you do this in Redguard the menu fails to display (It's there, since the game is paused and you can glimpse it in the alt-tab preview, but it's not visible). I tried running \path\to\Redguard\DOSBOX\dosbox.exe. From there I can open the mapper and use it, but the mapping doesn't carry over to the game when I run it. I went into Redguard\dosbox_redguard.conf and changed mapperfile to mapper-SVN-Daum.map (the default value, mapper.txt , doesn't seem to exist). Didn't work. Tried copying mapper-SVN-Daum.map into \Redguard, as well as putting in the absolute path to mapper-SVN-Daum.map, and that didn't work either.

Does anyone know why these solutions don't work?
