Has anyone else had a suddenly developing problem with Oblivion running the Morrowind mod dropping to the desktop randomly? Any fixes for this? I'm running Windows 10.

Thanks,
Ron

Minor update with more information. I'm 10 game days into the game and had no problems until yesterday when I was experiencing random drop outs at different locations. Now I'm in a situation where I can't advance a quest. I'm outside and need to climb a hill to meet the quest contact but the game drops to the desktop everytime he gets in sight. I've attempted to resolution a couple of different ways and played with toggling HDR & the sliders for fade distance and have not been able to effect the crashing. I have not had any Windows or Graphics updates from when the game was running stable so it shouldn't be that. Any other ideas or experience with this?

Thanks
Further update: I found a post on the Moroblivion forums that discussed this as a problem with loading "cells" and it recommended leaving the area for 3 days and returning, so I went and did some other quests and when I returned this worked fine the first time. This is kind of frustrating, but it does close the issue for now.
Do you have any other mods installed other than the Morrobilvion esp's? I've always had issues running Oblivion too long with certain mods installed, things start going a little strange on my saves after 80+ hours for me.

Interesting. I'm running only with the required mods for Morroblivion and have them loading in the order suggested on their install guide.
Do you happen to still have a save right before that point where your ran into the issue? You could try to manually purge the cell buffer. Go to a nearby cell like inside a home, open the console, and type PCB. Then see if it works. If it does, I'd read up on that command to see if there's any issues with it affecting save games further down the line.

I don't still have a save there. If I run into the situation again, I'll share. I'm curious to see what you can see.

Thanks!
