Hi!
New on GOG here.
I would very much like to own this game and play it again as I have many dear memories with it from my younger days, playing it via the cd disk.

Can someone tell me if I can play this game without the Bethesda launcher or having to signup anywhere?
Not sure if this is implied in the DRM free version stuff here or if u can still have games where we need to do loops b4 we can play? Its Bethesda so why Im asking ;D

I am wary because in steams version they hid the old original version from the store, and only sell their new and 'improved' version now, which come with broken stuff and unwanted other stuff, for those that arent too keen on 'data collection' etc or is simply paranoid like me.
So Im hoping this version on GOG is as close to the old version as posible, without getting those 'improved' additions?
It says special edition tho, so Im guessing this isnt the old classic version here on GOG either? ;(

I saw u can revert to old game update or something on its store page here, not sure if thats all there is to it?
And whether that even works for us on Linux using Heroic/Lutris?

I just clicked forum on Skyrim's store page, thats the game I mean yes:)

Im sad to see its not posible to get the original version here on GOG either then ;(
I was so hoping, since its GOG.
The memory leak etc is what I mean also, their 'improved' versions come with flaws so I would love to get the original version only.
Hope it comes to GOG one day without all the 'bonus features' ;D
