Because I loved the game many years ago, I started a new game for the fun of it and bring back some good memories.

But, I want to collect as much stuff and I am disappointed since it looks like we cannot modify the carry weight with the existing mods that update "factorStrengthEncumbranceMult". (I have the latest version 1.2.0416_cs)

Any ideas how I can correct this?

RD

PS: The game is TES IV Oblivion ... Sorry.

There isn't any method that works without a game to work on.

(You failed to mention which game you are talking about in your post.)
I suppose you are referring to Oblivion. Have you tried this mod?

Nope, I thought that 64K x strenght was a bit overdone! I did try all the others though.
It may be worth looking for in-game solutions.

For example, if you have decent skill in Alteration, you can buy some Feather spells, which increase your carry weight and easily get magnitudes and durations higher than what you can make yourself in the spellmaker.

You can enchant items with Fortify Strength to increase carry weight; boosting Strength past 100 won't increase your damage (in Oblivion; it will in Morrowind, at the expense of making your weapons break faster), but it will increase carry weight.

There's also Alchemy; it's possible to get a 272 point Feather for 880 seconds with this,, and you can have up to 4 potions active at once.

(What I posted here applies to Oblivion, except for that one parenthetical comment about Morrowind.)

Edit: Or, of course, you could just dupe Skooma and get drunk all the time just like the speedrunners do.
