Hi guys,

We have updated our installer as well as the game :D. If you were experiencing any odd bugs while playing the games, please download the new installer and setup files as the game has been changed to version 2.0.

Changelog:

- Multilanguage Tool integrated (one game build where players can choose their desired combination of speech and texts/subtitles)
- New Engine Version for Performance Optimization/Enhancement

Thanks and have a nice day :)
Thanks for the heads up. Quick question - would it affect saves?

Awesome, I think next time I play I'll do it with German speech and English subs. Do these updates apply to both games because when I played the Breakout I definitely noticed a bit of slowdown so better optimisation is great news. Has the big bug in the

It's an engine update/overhaul so I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

I would recommend starting over since this is a rather huge version change and who knows what kind of problems might arise from mixing saves from an older version of the game?

I am not sure how far that is, as we had the Deponia games to test as they got updates as well which I'll post in a bit :)

I don't know how easy it is to look it up, but I submitted the bug to support back when I was playing the game (March this year I think) so the full details would be there.

There's no patch? So, the only way to update this game is to re-download the whole 3+ GB. That seems a bit... inefficient.

I know what you're referring to as I kept an eye on it somewhat, I just don't know how far in the game you have to go to see it :) Oh and I don't have access to Support tickets since I don't work in Support :P

I was afraid you'd say this, thanks for the warning nonetheless.

Just to put my mind to rest - how many more updates will come out today?

Got both Deponias as both games also got upgraded to version 2.0 but don't download anything yet as I am literally putting up the installers as we speak. I think you'll appreciate the extra language options if you wanted to play them in a different language :)

No worries, will take a deep breath and download sometime over the weekend - thankfully, the GOG Downloader maxes out my Internet speed, so it won't take that long :D

Why not just download while you sleep? :D

Will A New Beginning and Chains of Satinav get updates too, or is Edna & Harvey and Deponia 1+2 basically it?

For now just Edna & Harvey and Deponia 1+2 have gotten updates. If any other ones arrive, we'll get them to you ASAP :)

Cool. Hopefully they'll get updated!

Because the GOG Downloader has a tendency to choke if you queue a few GB-heavy games and every time I've tried that, I woke up in the morning only to find the Downloader in some sort of frozen state (it would be responsive but wouldn't go online) while at least half of the games were still waiting to be downloaded. Worst part was that it'd usually require to cancel all downloads, logout, terminate the Downloader, restart it, re-login and add the games back.
Having learned my lesson, I now run the GOG Downloader on my laptop and use my Desktop for other online activities - this way I manage to "steal" some of the bandwidth from the Downloader and do online stuff while still keeping an eye on the downloads ;P

I generally like the Downloader because of the speed it manages, but it definetely needs improvement in a few areas.
