Another question. Is it possible to use my Steam save with the GOG version, and vice versa? I have several saves on both I'd like to consolidate down to one set of files.

Since I don't own the Steam version, I can't tell for sure but it could be possible. Just backup your saves from both versions and give it a try. :)
