Geralt_of_Rivia: Exactly. Because of the inability to load saved games the current version is unplayable. And I have already deleted the old installer. :-(

EvilLoynis: This may seem obvious advice but sometimes people forget. If you deleted the old installer is it maybe still in your Trash/Recycle bin? These usually don't empty by themselves unless you set it up that way so you may still be able to restore it from the trash.
Thanks for trying to help but as an old and very experienced computer user I don't usually need the Recycle bin so it is turned off on all my systems.

You could always ask support for the older installer.

Gydion: You could always ask support for the older installer.
Not necessary any more because today's update fixed the save game issue.
