AverageBear: I had pre-ordered E:MotBW (on GOG, I think there is a similar offer on Steam as well) and got access to EG. To be honest - after playing the game - I don't really care about the graphical upgrade at all!
For EG: The graphics are NOT polished - rather like old paintings with NO animation at all. However the game play is so incredible that I rarely bother about the graphics quality at all! Though after hearing Gremlion, I would rather have bought EG direct than pre-ordered E:MotBW - much cheaper!
Thank you very much for the reply, AverageBear. Yeah, I think I should do as you suggest and just buy Genesis. I don't feel right supporting a shoddy product especially a pre-order. The only way developers will listen to conumers is if we hold out with our wallets and demand a reasonably bug-free quality release.
But, then a pre-order would get me both games. Essentially, that would mean Masters of the Broken world for $14.00! Hmmm. I am still torn. Even a buggy game for that price isn't a terrible bargain and I am sure they will eventually work out the bugs, right? Maybe not, though. Gremlion's post has me worried that they would just abandon all support for it and not fix the bugs. I am very torn, still.
