I love this game, but each single player game is just a rush to prepare for meeting the AI opponent.

I want to play sandbox mode alone, just relaxing and doing exploring.

Start hotseat with 3 players (3 enables diplomacy), skip turns with other players/try different starts at once.

at options for sandbox set ai to inactive ;)
