We have noticed that a lot of people are having audio issues, with no sound coming out of the game. There might be a workaround, but we need some testing and feedback from you guys regarding the issue.

If you are having said audio issues, please try this:
1.Locate the game folder.
2.Find file "prog.xml" and open it up in a text editor.
3.look for your OS in the file.
4.Add FORCE_ALT_SOUND_IMP under "features" of your OS taking care to put a , between existing features and the new one.
5.Open up the game

Please report back to this thread if it works or doesn't work. This will help us narrow down possible issues and help fix the underlying issues. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

Just had to log in to say, this worked for me—I've got audio through my headphones, but nothing through speakers, and the above fix has resolved the issue such that audio works through both.

Note that the "features" entry already contained a "_FORCE_ALT_SOUND_IMP" value (with leading underscore), I tried simply removing this first to no effect, but removing the leading underscore did finally fix the problem. Thanks!
