Steam version seems to received the update already.
I made a support ticket in hopes GOG simply was not in the know about the update for some reason. Still waiting for an answer. It is so strange that ALL consoles. even last gen and Steam got the update, but the GOG version did not.
I hope this is something GOG can clear up and get the Dying Light devs to release it on here too.
i got a 10gb update today so maybe thats it?

Maybe I don't know as I don't use Galaxy Client. The direct download shows it's still v1.52

The update adds ultra quality shadows and longer render distance so yea thats it and what was described on steam too
Looking around the internet for version confirmation, I found a mod on Nexus that helps people rollback to 1.51, with the exact same info that the Retouched update changes. I played it on Steam, didn't see any issues. However, my rig is well above standards, so if you're experiencing issues, roll it back!
