Hello,
I had just made it to Old Town for the first time on this save, and as I was securing a safe house, the game simply stopped. I was forced to end the process. When I reopened the game, the Saviors quest was done, but I was back at the Tower. Here's the best part: The poster for fast traveling to Old Town was notably absent. I tried verifying the game files; no luck. I am stuck in the Slums. I'm curious to know the reason for this kind of glaring, game-breaking bug that has somehow survived iteration after iteration of an otherwise excellent game. I am more curious, however, about how to fix this.

PSA: Do NOT close the game during the arena fight with the Demolisher. You will be left with no machete when you return.

EDIT: Problem solved. All I had to do was reload the beginning of the quest. Your progress in that specific quest is lost, but you retain your inventory, as well as being placed in the correct area.

In general, DL fucks up saves pretty often, especially during the campaign. Even thou restarting the mission is a valid solution because the devs never managed to fix this issue, it still may have undesirable effects of missing equipment and other stuff. My recommendation after a lot of frustration duo to corrupted and fucked up saves is to go to C:\Users\%USER%\Documents\DyingLight and zip your 'out' folder. If there are no screenshots inside, they take up only 60-120kb each. I made 70 such backups during campaign and another 60 during the add-on. It saves you a lot of rage quits.
