Gog does not allow you to play cross system or even with other PC users anymore. If you are interested in using the multiplayer option, just go to STEAM. Gog, I am a first and last time customer, or continue getting my money with a compatibility patch.

Not entirely true. LAN multiplayer works fine for me. No issues at all. I have not tried on-line play though so can't comment to that.
