Greetings everybody,
just like the title says, after last game update my antivirus detects DyingLightGame.exe as a virus and blocks it, and obviously GOG Galaxy fails to redownload it (error E4).

After making an exception in my antivirus (Avast) for DyingLightGame.exe and Gog Galaxy exes (guides for E4 error said to make an exception even for those) it updated correctly, but this is something that needs to be looked upon...

Thanks.

What you describe here, is the normal procedure. Of course Galaxy can't download the file again, since your AV blocks it.

What 'needs" to be done: Report the file as "false positive" to Avast, so they won't identify it as virus again.

This is in no way GOGs or Galaxys fault. The devs could create a windows certificate for the file. But the error really lies in the detection algorithm on Avasts side.

I already reported it to Avast, but GOG needs to know this too to report this to the developers.
I even tried to report another problem yesterday but the GOG chat bot, after making me specify the problem, said there were problems and that I couldn't report that.
For now I'm writing here, but I'll try the official way again soon.
