I'm enjoying the hell out of the game thus far. On my 3rd run - which at this point seems off to a good start (my 1st two attempts were failures before long.. lol)

I have both a question and a suggestion:

==============================

Q: Is there an in-game way to know or check what room a bot is in, from the bot vid-feed view?

When the "main view" cuts out; I can't remember very well what rooms my bots are in - it's even worse when one or more of their vid-feeds also cut-out. I would think my "Salvage Vessel software" would keep track of that and put it up on the bot vid-feed - just as it does with door labels.

Maybe I'm just missing it; if so, please point it out :)

==============================

Suggestion: Don't disable the 'Difficulty' options selection on the options screen during a game-in-progress

Allow me to select it and see what Difficulty Options choices I previously made there (I can't remember them). I understand that I am not supposed to be able to change them mid-game - but instead of disabling the option selection, instead disable each of the individual options. That way I can peek in and see what they are, reminding myself during a game.

==============================

Great game you have made :) Very immersive..

Thanks for the kind words - glad you are enjoying it!

You can see what room you are in with the 'info' command.

I agree about the Difficulty options. Perhaps we can put that for a possible update. I too have wished I could remind myself what I set them to :D
Also, if your main vid feed is dying... commandeer a new ship, it's video feed will be in better shape. We didn't make this obvious but we just added in a hint for this. Hope that helps!
Thanks, both of you, for your answers :)

I indeed had overlooked that the INFO command provides the room number.

To me, it still makes "logical" sense that my "software" would label the rooms on the drone vid-feeds - since it already does so for the door labels. However, the software does seem a bit "glitchy" so that may explain it. <g> My main concern was not knowing how to get that room number - and now I have that, so all is cool.

Thanks for the tip about commandeering a new ship. I knew that could be done - but I still don't know how to do it. At this point I'm still a beginner, so no need to tell me just yet - I'll try to figure it out.. <g>

There's lots to figure out - for example, I deliberately allowed a drone mod (T̶r̶a̶n̶s̶p̶o̶r̶t̶ oops I meant Motion) to deteriorate past "yellow", to see how it would fail, and how much more it might cost to repair that a "yellow" condition mod - and I thusly learned that "red" condition follow "yellow", and is not repairable at all. LOL. Now I don't have 2x Motion's to kick around anymore (having 2 was quite handy) - unless I find another one.

Live and learn!

There is one suggestion I would like to make, since it seems the devs are active (awesome BTW!) here.

Would it be possible to put something in to resize the command window fonts? I play using my 37" TV as my monitor and that font is pretty small when using the 1920x1080 resolution. Its pretty hard to make out from a normal sitting distance.

Actually, the feature exists :D

Use CTRL and the +/- symbol to increase/decrease. You can also access the font-size in the Graphical Options menu.

Let me know if that doesn't work (or doesn't make it big enough!).

Well, don't I feel the fool. >.< Seriously though, thanks for that information and the reply! It works perfectly that way. Now, to just find a frakin' Interface module... :)
