I am in the Hulder woods trying to count the leaves on the friggin mother of all oak trees or whatever its called. Apparently, after counting the leaves four times Tass is supposed to suggest plucking off the dead ones. Prior to that he is supposed tomake some other suggestions which I should NOT follow.

Problem is, the NPC starts with saying he won't participate, but never adds anything else. I have counted these leaves 23 times now!!!!!

Any thoughts? Is this a bug or did I miss something?

Each time after you count the leaves, you need to remember the number, return to the glade and tell the Queen the number of leaves that you counted. Then she sends you back to try again. After a few times, I think the correct choice presents itself.

I finally figured it out. The FIRST step to speaking to the queen is to answer GEBENE then you can give the number of leaves. I was straight up entering the number of leaves. I'm starting to remember why I gave up on this lousy game back in the day.
