I want to play some advanced dungeons and dragons but im new with goldbox, wich one is the best to start with as a newbie?

Gateway to the Savage Frontier is the most newbie friendly, but also the blandest and most boring of all the Gold Box games.
Pool of Radiance is the oldest one, but the UI is a bit cruder than for the other games.
So I'd start with Champions of Krynn.
