I play DKK in the moment, I used 4 or 5 times haste in COK and DKK, not much more and my elves die of old age. They are 353 years old.

I use GBC and tried to change the age of the elves, but same issue. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there any solution for it?

You havent been tinkering with that function to make your characters human, have you?

When do they die?

I doubt this is the issue, but Haste randomly causes people to die of system shock if their Con is below 18. I've never seen it, but then again I don't use Haste

Yes, it was the racehack, found out yesterday. Also found out it is not necessary if I use level up with GBC. This race hack and restore races did not work good anyway. Often it make every race into sylv. elves after restoring races.-

For my future reference, when do characters actually die of old age? Is it just randomly while resting and walking around or is it right after casting Haste?

And just to be clear, their status becomes Gone and not Dead, right?

When exactly the die, I do not know. But you can cast many haste spells till this happens.
