I won the first battle in Tholtl or whatever, but I had two characters die because I wasn't allowed to bandage them during combat. I am well aware of how these games work, Dark Queen of Krynn made me fall in love with PC games, but I can't for the life of me bandage my party members. Anyone know what the deal might be?

There are two battle menus. Confusingly, the way between them is choosing "done" from the first one. This brings up a handful of alternative battle commands, including (B)andage, if applicable.
