I installed it on my Win10 computer [i-5 9300 H with 8 GB RAM, it's a 64bit processor] and when I click the icon it doesn't run. Graphics card is Nvidia GForce GTX 1050. I've tried running it in administrator mode, then with compatibility with Win-8, and I cannot get it to run.

Anyone have any clue why it might not be running?

What game exactly are you trying to run?
Can't speak for Greywolf but I'm having issues getting DS2 to run.

The Video Config says my video card is too weak/not supported and running the game I get a black screen and the goes ding. Task Manager shows DS2 as not responding.

64 Bit Windows 10.

Looks like my issue is related to the Broken World Steam Fix.

Edit 2: Fixed. Had issues with I still had my old off the disc copies installed so putting it into a different folder worked.

Yes, it is Dungeon Siege 2 which refuses to run. I looked up fixes other people tried via steam as well and still couldn't get it to work. Direct play was already enabled, and putting DX9 in the folder did not work either.

It is 64 bit windows. I think it may also have something to do with the resolution (1980 x 1080) of the screen vs. that which the game wants tor run, but I cannot seem to get it to run in windowed mode either.
If the expansion Broken World is installed the game is more tricky to run, but the workarounds are in some steam topics. I was able to make it run under steam with some command line editihgs and it was functional. Slower though, but it worked decently.
Any info about the subjet should be there, of in the gog topic about how integrate expansions.

I have Steam-version of DS2 going; with Broken World and without Broken World.

I'm also running DS2 w/ the DGVoodoo wrapper, so I get by the mouse-flickering bug, mouse cursor not appearing, and any other graphical problems.

If you put in Broken World - make sure you install that off the old BW disc(s) to get it onto the registry, or run the registry file for BW, or follow Gudadantza's instructions above me.
