So I’ve hit a point mid-game (in the lands of snow) where my experience level is outpacing the local enemies, making it more difficult to increase stats and class. Even though I’m of equal or higher level than the mobs, it still feels like a struggle because my stats and class levels seem undertrained, and to push forward means a whole lot of repetitive grinding (kill all enemies, leave area, re-enter, repeat).

I’ve tried downloading trainers, none of them have worked. Since the numbers are hidden, Cheat Engine can’t help ( and the tables in their forum don’t work).

Can anyone suggest some alternative to grinding? I never beat this game in my younger days, when I would have enjoyed this type of gameplay extending. But now, I just want to finish the story!

Try the sites suggested in this thread. I used the siegetheday(dot)org site originally for some drop mods and xp ring mods and a few other misc mods. It's been a long while since I visited that site, so not sure if there are any changes to it.

Hope that helps.

Edit:
I've also used the site for DS2 mods as well.

With the grinding, Jumping to where the bosses are grinds faster than killing all the weak enemies, Plus they give more cash and items.
