I'm only able to play DS2 on steam in windowed mode. I just want to play the base game in full screen without any download fixes.

I have it installed on my Window 7 system and I run it in full screen without any issues. I haven't played it in a while, but the 20+ hours I put in previously worked fine. It works fine in full screen with plenty of mods installed as well.

If you're using Windows 10/11, then unfortunately I have no clue.

Yes GOG's version as far as i'm aware is the only version that works fullscreen in Windows 10/11 with the mouse.

Yes, can confirm, the GOG release does indeed have a mouse.

As of now, that is correct.

But it REALLY looks good windowed in 1600x1200. just sayin'
