I don't think they can, for legal/copyright issues, have screenshots of the game using KeeperFX on the game page. That's the "vanilla" Dungeon Keeper being pictured right there, at least my version looks exactly the same and I'm using no mods/fixes/patches whatsoever (obviously, the screenshots are taken after upscaling the resolution through Ctrl+R).
I think that's just an impression, because you don't see these screenshots in full screen.

Alt-something fixes the graphics. Forget what it is, but don't forget to increase your DosBox cycles.
it's alt+r to make the graphics look like those in the screenshot.

Ctrl+R on the Windows version. Not sure of the command for the Mac one, someone said it was something like Option+R (which is the Mac keyboard version of Alt), but I can't test this.

On Windows, though, I'm sure it's Ctrl+R, not Alt.

Most likely.

Oh really? Hmmm, can anyone else confirm this? Because most other people have been saying Alt+R, and I specifically asked GOG Support to change a review that originally just said "R" to "Alt+R", so people wouldn't get confused.

Sorry, my bad! I don't know where I got the idea it was Ctrl+R... too much updating of the Dungeon Keeper sub-forums, with people asking the same every single time, it's easy to get confused and tired :P

It is, indeed, Alt+R. Ctrl+R does nothing.
? Im using keeperFX and alt-r does nothing. It certaintly doesnt improve the graphics in any way.

ALT+R is the default configuration for both versions of the game.

This is explained in the original Dungeon Keeper manual. It is also explained in the KeeperFX thread, and the keeperfx_readme.txt.

The key combination only works when you are in a dungeon. It does not work on the main menu.

It only affects the resolution though, it won't make the textures look more sharp.
