As a long time DK fan, I had to download this as soon as I saw it was re-released. But for some reason, my transfered creatures aren't transfering. I'm finding the specials, using them, selecting my level 10 dragon/vampire/warlock/lord of the land, but when I start the next level, he's not there.

And it's killing me in Nevergrim, since my creatures can't defeat the rush.

Are you quitting after transferring? As in, quitting the game to windows. When I did that, they don't transfer even though I have transferred them previously. I went back to a previous save, loaded and used the transfer without quitting and it worked then.

Now I usually just save before I complete the level and transfer the creature in case it doesn't work.
