I just got dungeon keeper gold edition and was thinking of doing a lets play of it for my channel but it won't let me record with DXtory. Is there something i am doing wrong?

Have you ran Dungeon Keeper's "Graphic Mode Setup", yet? Set graphic mode to OpenGL (or DDraw or Direct3D) so DOSBox uses OpenGL which can be captured by DXtory.
