I remember that Bullfrog had an official level editor where you could substitute the in-game levels with custom maps. Does anyone know if this may eventually become available as bonus content?

It's here: http://dlh.net/cgi-bin/dlp.cgi?lang=eng&sys=pc&file=dkedit.zip&ref=ps

I suppose it was released as freeware in 2008 as the page says.

didn't opt for the gog version myself because it's not the win port in d3d so i can't help. look for documentation that comes with the editor.

It dosn't seem to find dungeon keeper, everytime I put the directory link to where Dungeon keeper is installed. It seems to tell me that it's not.

Could this possibly be that the GoG version have diffrent files, folders and diffrent types of files that might be the reason for this happening ?, I seem to be looking at a diffrence when I look at the manual on how to get the Level editor to work.

There was also a Text level editor aswell. Is it possible that GoG might add this feature one day if there is no way to get it working ?

I encountered this problem as well; even if you use the browse function, the editor can't find the Keeper file. I'm REALLY hoping this gets added to the bonus content. Dungeon Keeper is awesome but it really extends the gameplay when you can design your own levels. By the way, there was no "text editor" as far as I know, but you could open the files specific to each level with notepad and edit the script from there to modify AI settings, creature pool, rooms/spells/traps available, etc...
Sorry, By Text Level editer, I meant ADiKtEd.

Hmm. I'll try and find out if the files from the orignal are bundled into one or few files. That might explain somehow...possibly.
I wonder if it'll work with my Dutch version of the original game. I might pick up the GOG english version later.
