Actually, I'd like to know how to do this as well.

Specifically, slow it down a bit so that critters are not stampeding about at the speed of light, but without causing mouse lag when clicking on things or hovering to display tool tips.

I started playing again yesterday for the first time in about 5 years. I have an old DOSBox setup, but can't remember much about it.

I'd also like to increase the screen view. I can zoom out with END key, but I'd like to zoom out a lot further and see more of the dungeon on-screen.
