I've browsed the support tickets and the forums. I know a lot of people have stability issues but why did not even one asked this question? I started the game and it looked just bad, so I really would like to use Hardware Acceleration but for some reason it's not working. It still renders in software mode.

Am I the only one where it doesn't work? Tried with NVIDIA and ATI Card. :(

I assume you're talking about DK2?

If the Engine Id has been set to 4 in the registry, hardware acceleration just won't work. Look in the registry and if it is indeed at 4, change it's value to 2. Keep in mind that graphics might end up not rendering at all in that mode.

If it's value is already at 2 and Hardware acceleration still doesn't work, well I'm out of ideas for the moment.
thanks for the answer. Yes I'm talking about DK2.

Can you tell me the complete Path to the key, because I can't just search for engine - getting too much other stuff.
Should I search for Dungeon Keeper or Dosbox?
A word of warning, turning Hardware Acceleration on may make your game crash occasionally.

Oddly enough in my case it actually stopped the random crashing.
