Hi there!

Several days ago I have bought a game on gog.com - Dungeon Keeper, and it runs on Mac OS X (my Mac OS X is 10.6.8). When I start DK, it runs with unusual aspect ratio - it is stretched vertically.
Tweaking Dosbox.conf found at at ~/Library/Preferences/DOSBox 0.73 Preferences did not help.
Is there any other way to change aspect ratio?

Thank you in advance.

PS I have attached a screenshot of boxer - dungeon keeper. As you can see there is no "Use 4:3 aspect ratio" entry in the "View" menu

Here is a screenshot of the game itself. You can see a minimap, and it should not look like an oval. It should look like a circle.

Mine looks like that too so i'm wondering about this as well. I'm running the Windows DOSBox version with "fullresolution=1920x1080" and "aspect=true" in my DOSBox config settings.

I think I may have found a solution, I don't if this is possible in the Mac version, but find the DOSBox config file and make sure the "aspect=" reads "aspect=false". If it doesn't, change it to that and see if the game looks right to you. After changing that, the game now looks correct and looks like its running at a 16:10 ratio. (you have to actually get into a dungeon map to see the change)
The strange thing is that normally when the "aspect=" is set to "false" the image for GOG's DOSBox games stretches to fill the entire screen and looks too stretched and incorrect which is why I usually change the aspect to read "aspect=true" in the DOSBox config file, but this game only stretched enough to maintain a correct 16:10 ratio and no further.

Edit: There's probably a "Keep Aspect Ratio" option with checkbox in the basic GOG DOSBox configuration menu too, make sure it's unchecked. Hopefully i'm right as i'm not familiar with Macs at all.

Yeah I'd like to try this, but I have no idea where the necessary config files are on the Mac install of DK :(
If you go to the menu by holding the mouse to the top of the screen (command+click in-game to release the mouse), there's a checkbox under View for "Use 4:3 aspect ratio".

There's also a "DOSBox Preferences.conf" in Dungeon Keeper.app->Show Package Contents, Contents/Resources/Dungeon Keeper.boxer->Show Package Contents

Thank you so much! New things learned today. For mine I had to uncheck 4:3 as it was already checked and streched but disabling that worked right away in squaring things out :D
