While looking over the Graphics settings I noriced there are serveral modes and choices.
Which one in your opinion for the normal non Moded game looks the best?

Is there a guide explaining scaling renderes and more?

I should also comment when the game starts the game screen cuts of parts of the screen and is super zoomed in.

You mean the scaling modes in the DOSBox Configurator? Here is a description of them for you.

none: no scaling is performed.
normal: nearest-neighbour scaling (big square pixels).
scan: like 'normal', but with horizontal black lines.
tv: like 'scan', but with darkened versions of the data instead of black lines.
rgb: simulates the phosphors on a dot trio CRT.
advmame: smooths corners and removes jaggies from diagonal lines.
advinterp: identical to 'advmame'.
sai: similar to 'advmame' but with much softer color gradients and edges.
supersai: similar to 'sai' but sharper.
hq: a 'high quality' scaler which delivers a cleaner and sharper image than 'advmame' or 'sai' scalers.

It all comes down to personal taste. Experiment and decide which looks best to you.

You can zoom the camera in and out using the HOME and END keys, and also rotate the camera using DEL and PAGE DN.

Thank you the controls are far different from what I'm used to in most rts games.
The top of my screen and bottom keep getting cut off even when I am playing.
I havent installed Keeper FX yet I want to do a normal run first. Yet this issue might just be my TV
If not can you help me out?
My normal aspect ration is 1280 x 720.

Thanks mate.

Any difference in 3D renders in your opinion?
Double Buffering?

Double Buffering?
The DOS version is designed to only run in 640x480 8-bit for the front-end menus, and either 320x200 or 640x400 in-game with a 16:10 aspect ratio. ALT+R switches between the resolutions.

Double Buffering is a technique for drawing graphics that shows no (or less) flicker, tearing, and other artifacts.

If your screen is getting cut off, try editing the dosboxDK.conf with notepad and changing fullresolution=original to fullresolution=640x480

devilhood: The DOS version is designed to only run in 640x480 with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
Actually only game menus and World Map are running at 640x480.
The game is running at 320x200 (default) or 640x400 if you press Alt + R during game.
Intro and Outro are 320x200.

Yeah, I forgot to mention the ALT+R switch, but there have been countless threads explaining it.

It's also worth mentioning that if you run the game in 640x400, it will most likely be slow. To fix this you need to edit the dosboxDK.conf and change cycles=80000 to cycles=max

I actually have my one set to auto and it works fine

cputype=auto
cycles=auto
