I was wondering why GoG don't have the Gold Edition of DK1 including the Deeper Dungeons and the level editor.

Is there any official word on why they don't have it? Or if they're going to add it?

Compatibility issues and expansion licensing issues, I believe. GOG has the DOS DK1 because they were able to provide good compatibility with DOSBox, but old Windows versions of games are more difficult to get running in new machines. And they do not have any Bullfrog expansions here yet, unfortunately.
