I am using my recently purchased samsung s7 phone, I wanted to set some of my favorite song ringtones but it didn't work. I have tried some detailed instructions but it still doesn't work. Everything sounds normal, just the ringtone I installed can't play. Someone please help me!

I am probably of no help here. I only use my phone to make calls and never download anything to my phone (except for when Google's scam outfit tries to force me to), however I do have the Duke Nukem ringtones from GOG on my phone. IIRC I had to use one of those little 'cards' (inserted into a slot near the battery) to download the ringtones onto. As long as the card is plugged in I can use the duke nukem tones.

I think you should find and choose a new track on your device. Then open the "Settings" app on your phone, then find and select "Sounds and vibrations". In this section you will find the list of ringtones. Find and select the ringtone you just downloaded and then select Save.
