I cannot download it at all!

Have successfully downloaded Freespace 2 but I cannot download via the downloader or the website.

Clearly it's game specific... any thoughts?

I think the server is just overloaded with so many people downloading their free gifts at the same time. I would try again in a little while.

Yeah, I had this issue as well - sent them a support request on it.

They issued a hotfix, and it's now working.
