Hi

I have Duke Nukem Manhattan Project(non gog & steam) and had my game since it was released. What i am having problems with is that i cannot apply the 1.01 patch. This means that the kill & secret count is not right.

Also i can redefine the keys, but when i restart the game the keys haven't changed in the controls menu. But i can use my redefined keys.

Does anybody know how i can apply the patch and get this great game working properly?.

Thanks for looking.

Colin

Please, specify the exact problem: do you get any error during the patching process?

Could it be an authorization issue? I mean, if the game is installed in a folder with restricted write permissions ("Program Files" and similar), a patch could not be able to overwrite the existing files.
The same authorization issue could be the cause of your problem with configuration files (i.e. redefined keys).

Try installing the game into a non protected folder (i.e. C:\Games\Duke or similar).
Hi

Okay,i installed DNMP to C:\Games(had to create the folder).Game installed after 10 minutes. When i ran the patch i was told that i had the 1.01 already installed!.

What should i try next?.

Thanks

Colin
You can see what version of DNMP you are running if you open the console ( ~ ) and then look at the number in the lower right corner of the console. Maybe the game is already patched.
