For the Animal Whisperer achievement I am only missing the dog in the Woodworker's Camp from near the beginning of the game, but the dog is nowhere to be found anymore. Not sure if it wandered way off or if it didn't respawn properly after scripted events, but does anyone know where the dog is now?

Hello, I found this: "The last dog, and the final animal to pet, can be found working hard on Georg's farm, just North of Nemeton. There you have it!"

Hello, and thank you, but I did find this dog and all the other animals according to all the guides for this achievement. However, there was a dog I didn't interact with near the beginning of the game, and after Chapter 2 the dog has disappeared. I don't know if I missed a clue and the dog followed one of the NPCs who left the camp, but I don't know where the dog is anymore.

Thank you, I will ask the devs and see what they say.
Edit: So apparently the dog gets killed in the attack in Chapter 2, so if you didn't interact with it before then you're out of luck. :( I'll just mark your post as completed since it led to the answer.
