I keep finding Gems, and i keep thinking they might be crafting ingredients, so i am hesitant to sell them.
Of course i searched the internet myself first, before i came here to ask questions.
Sadly, non-conclusive... :(
Does anybody here know for sure? If i can just sell them safely?

Ich finde immer wieder Edelsteine, und denke mir dabei, dass es Handwerks-Zutaten sein könnten.
Also zögere ich damit diese zu verkaufen...
Natürlich habe ich vorher schon selbst danach gegoogelt, es kam aber nichts konkretes dazu raus.
Weiß hier jemand mit Sicherheit ob es nun nur "Händler Kram" ist, oder man Edelsteine fürs handwerk braucht?

I have a few guides I merged together and can check those to see. My memory is a bit fuzzy here since it's been a while, but I don't recall any that were used for crafting. Though a couple might be worth saving for quests.

I'll check those guides tonight when I swap to my gaming SSD and let you know tomorrow.

Hi, sorry for the late reply.

Unfortunately, something happened to the guides I kept between moving the files from one pc to another. I may still have them of some USB drive for all I know, but no way to know atm.

I did do a little digging on the net and DS Online seems to have gems with properties, though I couldn't find any solid info if they are used for crafting. I honestly don't recall using gems for anything but selling. For alchemy I crafted potions mostly. Arrows from another crafting, which I can't recall right now. Blacksmithing for some crafting also.

DS Online gems seem to be the kind you can socket into items, at least from what I read so far. The few guides I found (mostly from Steam), don't talk about gems at all. Mostly alchemy or blacksmithing. I don't recall if the game had any jewelry or artificer crafting skills.

Sorry I got your hopes up. I had it install on the new pc, but it seems I didn't get far enough on that playthrough to get any gems yet. It seems I abandoned the game 2-3 years ago to play something else and forgot all about it lol. It was bound to happen for me, since I played it 3 or 4 times anyway in the past.

Oh, one of those guides (Steam I think) had a jewel list as a magic item. i don't recall if it could be equipped or whether it was some one-use item.

Ehrlich gesagt kann ich mich auch nicht erinnern, Edelsteine für irgendwas gebraucht zu haben außer als Einnahmequelle.

Was du auf jeden Fall nicht verkaufen solltest (wenn du Säbel nutzt), ist die Parierstange...Die droppen nur an zwei Orten mit RNG und danach nie wieder.
