Maestra249: When leaving certain screens, especially those leading onto the "world map", the game tends to freeze quite frequently. The only thing to do is to terminate the process using the task manager.

Anybody got an idea how to fix this?

I already tried experimenting with compatibility mode and administrator settings. Didn't help much unfortunately...

wormholewizards: try enter the configuration file located at the game folder (dosboxDragonsphere) using notepad, under the [cpu] section change the "core" from "dynamic" to "auto". Make sure you make a backup for that conf. files before make any changes. I also encountered this problem before i made those change.

Go to your installation folder of the game, default is Computer > C: > Program Files > GOG.com > Dragonsphere > dosboxDragonsphere.conf

Hi everyone.

We just uploaded a new version of our installer for Dragonsphere which has this issue resolved without the need to tweak or change the settings. This is for the PC side.

Good to hear, just wanted to say a quick thanks for all the effort you put into making these old games run on our new computers. Also for continually maintaining and updating the games in your catalouge as needed when there are issues like with this freezing screen, for example. So once again, many thanks and your efforts are very much appreciated :)
