So I'm using GOG Galaxy, the game is patched to version 1.0.0.18 and I have cloud saves, but the game still launches in offline mode. What am I doing wrong?

Start the game and go to options. Switch it to online mode and then press the BACKSPACE button. This is what saves the settings.
